Cemetery Facilities
Springfield Memorial Gardens was founded in 1963. It is the only Perpetual Care cemetery in Springfield. Besides ground burials, the cemetery offers both indoor and outdoor mausoleum space. There are several cremation gardens within the cemetery designed specifically for the burial of cremated remains. There are also indoor options for urn placement, including the new Garden Room, located in the lower mausoleum. This Tuscan themed room offers beautiful views of the cemetery grounds. Springfield Memorial Gardens Funeral Home was built on the property in 1990. Located on a bluff overlooking the cemetery and east Springfield, it is a fitting setting for a funeral or memorial service.
